Cleaner & Remover

CBC - Cleaner & Adhesion Promoter
CBC

CBC Cleaner is a surface cleaner as well as a preparatory step in assuring proper adhesion of all ColorBalancer Products.

Application

1.) Spray
Shake the CBC Cleaner. Apply CBC Cleaner liberally to substrate to remove wax, grease, silicone, dirt, tar, and insects.

2.) Wipe
Wipe the surface while still wet to remove surface contamination. Reapply if necessary.

3.) Once surface is clean and dry.
Follow Technical Data Sheets for application of ColorBalancer Products (CB, CB100, CB101, CB102, CB103).

CBR - Remover
CBR

CBR Remover is a remover for all ColorBalancer Products.

Application

1.) Spray
Shake the CBR Remover. Apply CBR Remover liberally to substrate to remove ColorBalancer Product if improperly applied or improper shade was chosen.

2.) Wipe
Wipe the surface while still wet to remove ColorBalancer Products. Reapply if necessary.

3.) Once surface is clean and dry.
The sprayed panel must be re-cleaned using CBC Cleaner/Adhesion Promoter before recoating with ColorBalancer Products. Follow Technical Data Sheets for application of CBC Cleaner.

TIPS
If using CBR Remover for removal of catalyzed version of a ColorBalancer Product, several applications may be necessary

Quart Product

CB

Use w/ Ready to Spray Basecoat

ColorBalancer is a patent pending, point of delivery color matching aid that is designed to assist in the color tinting of adjacent panels to achieve color match acceptance as well as a color adjusting topcoat.

ColorBalancer can be used with any solvent-borne ready-to-spray basecoat. Do Not use single-stage.

CBP is the same great product in a more convienient sized container.

CB102P

CB102P is the equivilent product to CB102. The difference is this is in a easy to use pint for spraying with a standard spray gun.

No Mixing Required!

Great for Medium and Darker colors.

Aerosol Product

CB100 - Darkens White Colors
CB100

ColorBalancer is a patent pending, point of delivery color matching aid that is designed to assist in the color tinting of adjacent panels to achieve color match acceptance as well as a color adjusting topcoat.

CB100 will darken Whites, Pearls and all very light colors.

1.) Preparation
Area to be sprayed should be cleaned using CBC Cleaner. CBC Cleaner both cleans and chemically prepares the surface for adhesion without the need for sanding.

2.) Mask
Areas surrounding area to be sprayed should be masked using 12” paper to reduce overspray.

3.) Spray
Shake the ColorBalancer for 2 minutes after the mixing marble is heard and spray to test.

Hold product 8"-10" from surface, spray in light and even strokes, checking color match after each coat. 5 minute dry time at 70° F. More than 3 coats will lessen gloss of finish. When finished, turn the aerosol can upside down and spray for 3 seconds. This will keep the spray nozzle flowing smoothly.

4.) Hand Buff
If needed, hand buff perimeter of sprayed area. If removal is needed, use CBR Remover to quickly remove product from panel. If CBR Remover is used, the sprayed panel must be re-cleaned using CBC Cleaner before recoating with ColorBalancer Product

CB101 - Darkens Light Colors

CB101 will darken Silvers, Yellows, Pearls, Champagne, and all light colors.

1.) Preparation

2.) Mask
Areas surrounding area to be sprayed should be masked using 12” paper to reduce overspray.

CB102 will darken Red, Blue, Black, Copper, Green and all medium colors.
