Material Used:
- CBC Cleaner/Adhesion Promoter
- Masking Tape / 12" Paper
- CB100 - Darkens White Colors
or CB101 - Darkens Light Colors
or CB102 - Darkens Medium Colors
or CB103 - Darkens Dark Colors
- Polishing Cloth
- CBR Remover (optional)
Preparation
ColorBalancer is a Point-of-Delivery product. It should be applied only to clearcoat finishes dry enough to work with. This product was designed as a last minute solution to color matching problems.
Step 1.) Clean
Area to be sprayed should be cleaned using ColorBalancer CBC Cleaner. CBC Cleaner both cleans and chemically prepares the surface for adhesion without the need for sanding.

Step 2.) Mask
Areas surrounding area to be sprayed should be masked using 12" paper to reduce overspray.

Step 3.) Spray
Hold product 10 to 12 inches from surface, spray in light and even strokes, checking color match after each coat. Ten (10) minute dry time at 70° F for polishing and/or delivery. When finished, turn can upside down and spray for 3 seconds to keep nozzle clear.
If a mistake is made, use CBR Remover (see Tips & Basics for more instructions on using CBR Remover). Start process over again by cleaning with CBC Cleaner.

Step 4.) Hand Buff Edge
If needed, hand buff perimeter of sprayed area.

Material Used:
- CBC Cleaner/Adhesion Promoter
- Masking Tape / 12" Paper
- CB - Clear Quart Product
- Ready-to-Spray Basecoat
- Activator (optional)
- Foam Pad & Polishing Cloth
- CBR Remover (optional)
Preparation
You will need to mix your CB with your Basecoat (see the Tips & Basics under "CB Clear (Quart)" for more detail on mixing).
One (1) minute flash dry in between coats and a ten (10) minute dry time at 70° F for polishing and/or delivery.
If a mistake is made, use CBR Remover (see Tips & Basics for more instructions on using CBR Remover). Start process over again by cleaning with CBC Cleaner.
Step 4.) Hand Buff Edge
The application of ColorBalancer (non-aerosol) may diminish the gloss of the finish. After drying you may want to lightly machine buff with a foam pad to restore the desired level of gloss. If removal is needed, use ColorBalancer CBR Remover to quickly remove product from panel.
